It has a simulator part of the game for all those hardcore fighters. but it has a arcade style gameplay that is very fun and addicting. It can take some time to get used to the controls. This is a great game if you have a gamepad or a flight stick. I play this with a xbox controller and its really easy to fly with. The online portion of the game is still active and fun. The single player lets you take off each mission from the ground if you so choose. The graphics are pretty in this game. The sights and sounds make this game very enjoyable to play. I would totally suggest getting this game if you ever have the chance to see it on sale. I loved playing it and it is one of my favorite sim / arcade style flight fighting games!!. The Gaijin game that feels fun to play with a joystick, albeit there's really no multiplayer anymore afaik. Better than War Thunder because they didn't abuse people who enjoy flying with a stick.. Even though it says I've played 117 hours I've never actually managed to log into the game. When I try to play it it tells me to register.
